Volunteering may be available in person and/or online depending on your local area.
Reading Partners provide a highly effective, easy-to-use curriculum, training, and ongoing support.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
Age: You must be 18 years or older, no experience required.
Time commitment: Commit a little over an hour per week.
Weekday volunteer times available: Choose the time that works best for you. Volunteering
generally takes place M-Th, during business hours.
Technology: You must have access to a laptop or desktop computer with reliable WIFI.
Training: Complete the required tutor orientation.
Screening: Volunteers must complete regional clearance requirements including a
background check.
Location: You must reside in the United States.


The Reading Partners organization empowers communities to provide individualized reading support to put students on a path toward reading at grade level by fourth grade. Since 1999, Reading Partners has delivered nearly 3 million individualized tutoring sessions to over 80,000 students, resulting in strong literacy outcomes and expanded educational opportunities nationwide.
